Simple Voice Chat
Player-facing guidance for the plugins used on Pinnacle SMP.

PROXIMITY VOICE CHAT
Simple Voice Chat adds optional in-game proximity and group voice communication using a matching client-side mod.
OPTIONAL PLAYER FEATURE Proximity Voice
Communicate with other participating players nearby in Minecraft. Text chat still works normally for players without the voice mod.
How to Use Voice Chat
- Install the Simple Voice Chat client mod for Minecraft 26.3 with a compatible mod loader (Fabric, NeoForge, Forge, or Quilt).
- Connect to Pinnacle SMP normally with the mod enabled.
- Press V (the default key binding) to open voice settings, choose and test your microphone, and configure push-to-talk or voice activation.
- Speak within range of another participating player or use voice groups when available.
Player Commands

Important Notes
The Paper server plugin alone does not add voice audio to an unmodified Minecraft client. Each voice participant needs the compatible client mod; using it is optional.
Voice traffic uses a separate UDP port (24454 by default, unless changed by staff). If voice fails to connect while Minecraft works, verify the mod version and report the issue to staff.
