Who we are…

Pinnacle SMP is a Vanilla+ Minecraft server that got its start in 2012 when McCreeper1318 started hosting a public Minecraft server. Once a few people joined it was quickly switched to a whitelisted server because of griefing, but not before he met Piff and Jeff. Together, McCreeper1318, Piff, and Jeff started the first season of the Pinnacle SMP whitelisted server as a purely vanilla Minecraft server, in the style of Mindcrack. Soon after starting, JohnnyKilroy would join and start Season 2 after Piff left. Season 2 would open up the server to much more people and the start of the current iteration of the server. Many years and seasons later, in 2025, Pinnacle SMP has decided to go Vanilla+ and not just be a purely vanilla server for the first time in its history. Currently the server is on its 11th season since September 2025 and has over 20 members in various states of activity levels.

Where we are going…

Currently Pinnacle is on its 11th season and has no current plans on starting season 12 anytime soon. We are planning to keep adding more members in waves throughout 2026 in order to allow time for new members to get to know old ones and to find their place in the server.
