PLUGIN GUIDE

FragStealers

Player-facing guidance for the plugins used on Pinnacle SMP.

FRAGSTEALERS GUIDE LAST REVIEWED: AUGUST 5, 2026 Pinnacle SMP currently runs FragStealers 26.2-6 Beta 2. Because this is a beta release, behavior may change after future updates.
SECURITY, SHOPS, MAIL & TRUSTED ACCESS

FragStealers protects player storage, powers secure container shops and virtual mailboxes, lets owners share controlled access with trusted players, and provides logged staff recovery tools.

PLAYER FEATURES What FragStealers Does

Players can protect supported containers, run shops, receive mailed items, and grant specific players limited or full management access without giving up ownership of the protection.

What Is New in 26.2-6 Beta 2

  • Protection owners can now trust individual players with either access or manage permissions.
  • New commands let owners add, update, remove, and list trusted players while looking at a protection within six blocks.
  • Trusted access now works with ordinary locks, shops, and mailboxes.
  • Access-level shop users can restock only the configured sale item and cannot remove stock or collect payments.
  • Manage-level shop users can restock, remove stock, collect payments, and finish setting up an unconfigured shop.
  • Access-level mailbox users can collect mail through a restricted pickup view but cannot insert or rearrange items.
  • Manage-level mailbox users can fully manage mailbox contents.
  • Open shop and mailbox sessions recheck authorization, so revoked trust takes effect without requiring the player to reconnect.
  • Protected shop and mailbox menus now block more inventory bypass methods, including hotbar swaps, offhand swaps, shift-clicking, dragging, dropping, cloning, and collect-to-cursor actions.
  • Trust entries are automatically removed when the related lock, shop, or mailbox protection is removed.

Supported Containers

  • Chests
  • Trapped chests
  • Double chests
  • Barrels
Before creating a protection: The container must be empty, and one container cannot be registered as more than one FragStealers type.

Protected Storage

  1. Attach a sign directly to the side of an empty supported container, or place a standing sign directly above it.
  2. Put [fs] on the first line.
  3. Finish editing the sign. It changes to [protected] and displays the owner's name.
  • The owner and authorized trusted players can open and use the container.
  • The container cannot be broken until the protection sign is removed.
  • Trusted players cannot edit or remove the sign, break the container, or attach another chest half.
  • The owner can safely expand a protected single chest into a double chest.
  • Hopper behavior for ordinary locks follows server policy. Shops and mailboxes always block hopper access.

Trusted Player Access

Trust commands must be used in game while the owner is looking directly at the FragStealers sign or protected container from no more than six blocks away.

CommandWhat it does
/fs trust <player>Grants the player the default access level on the targeted protection.
/fs trust <player> accessGrants or changes the player to limited access.
/fs trust <player> manageGrants or changes the player to management access.
/fs untrust <player>Removes the player from the targeted protection.
/fs trustedLists every trusted player and their access level for the targeted protection.
ProtectionAccess LevelManage Level
Ordinary lockOpen and use the protected container.Same container access as the access level.
ShopAdd only the configured sale material. Cannot remove stock or collect payments.Add or remove stock, collect payments, and configure an unconfigured shop.
MailboxDeposit items and collect mail through a restricted pickup view.Fully manage mailbox contents.
Ownership remains with the owner: Only the protection owner can change its trust list. Trusted players and Master Key administrators cannot change another player's trusted users.
Name changes are safe: Trust follows the player's Minecraft account rather than transferring to someone else who later uses the old name.

Player Shops

  1. Attach a sign to an empty supported container.
  2. Put [fs shop] on the first line.
  3. Right-click the completed sign and choose the item being sold and its quantity.
  4. Select the payment item and quantity, then confirm the setup.
  5. Place the sale stock in the physical container.
  • Customers right-click the shop sign to purchase the configured amount.
  • Sale quantities can be selected one item at a time up to that item's maximum stack size.
  • Shop payments are stored separately until collected by the owner, a manage-level trusted player, or authorized staff.
  • Configured signs show the sale item in green and the payment item in red without glowing text.
  • Access-level trusted users can restock only the correct sale material.

Shop Item Search

Currently buggy: The anvil shop search does not currently work. Use the normal item-selection list when setting up a shop.

Virtual Mailboxes

Creating Your Own Mailbox

  1. Attach a sign to an empty supported container.
  2. Put [fs mail] on the first line.
  3. Leave the second line blank and finish editing the sign.
  • Other players can deposit items without seeing or taking existing mail.
  • Occupied mailbox slots appear as locked red panes during deposit mode.
  • A barrel or single chest mailbox has 27 virtual slots; a double chest mailbox has 54.
  • Mailbox items are stored virtually rather than in the physical container.
  • The owner receives You've Got Mail! after an online deposit and once after joining while mail remains waiting.
  • Master Keys and internal menu items cannot be mailed.

Normal Player Commands

CommandWho can use itPurpose
/fs trust <player> [access|manage]Protection ownerAdds or updates a trusted player on the protection being targeted.
/fs untrust <player>Protection ownerRemoves trusted access from the targeted protection.
/fs trustedProtection ownerDisplays the targeted protection's trusted-player list.

No command is required to create or use ordinary locks, shops, and mailboxes; those actions are handled through signs and right-click menus.

ADMIN ONLY Master Key and Recovery Tools

The Master Key is a genuine unbreakable custom wooden axe used by authorized staff for recovery and inspection. A renamed wooden axe does not work.

CommandWhat it does
/fs give masterkeyGives the command user a Master Key.
/fs give masterkey <player>Gives an online player a Master Key.
/fs reloadReloads FragStealers server settings without deleting saved protections.

Creating a Mailbox for Another Player

Authorized staff can hold a genuine Master Key in either hand and create a mailbox for a known player using:

Line 1: [fs mail]
Line 2: PlayerName

The mailbox belongs to the named player exactly as though they created it themselves.

Administrative Access Rules

  • Authorized staff can open protected locks and management interfaces and remove protection signs for recovery.
  • The Master Key must remain in hand during active administrative inventory access.
  • A Master Key cannot directly break a protected container; the protection sign must be removed first.
  • Master Keys cannot be used as shop stock or placed inside mailboxes.
  • Master Key administrators cannot change another player's trust list.
  • Administrative mailbox creation, protection removal, and item or stock withdrawal actions are logged for accountability.

Important Security Notes

Trusted access is limited: Trusted players cannot remove or edit protection signs, break protected containers, attach a new chest half, or change the trust list.
Restricted menus are enforced: Access-level shop and mailbox users cannot bypass their limits using shift-clicks, number keys, offhand swaps, drops, drags, cloning, or collect-to-cursor actions.
Removing a shop: Stored payments are returned when an authorized person removes the shop sign. Overflow can drop safely nearby.
Physical versus virtual storage: Ordinary locks and shop stock use the actual container inventory. Mailbox contents and shop payments are stored separately by FragStealers.
