Where It Began
Pinnacle SMP traces its history to 2012, when McCreeper1318 began hosting a public Minecraft server. Griefing led the server to become whitelisted, but not before McCreeper1318 met Piff and Jeff.
McCreeper1318, Piff, and Jeff began the first season as a purely vanilla, Mindcrack-inspired survival server. JohnnyKilroy joined soon afterward and helped launch Season 2 after Piff left.

How the Server Evolved
Across many years and seasons, Pinnacle grew into its current community. In 2025, the server adopted a Vanilla+ approach for the first time: Paper and carefully chosen plugins support performance, safety, communication, and quality of life while preserving Minecraft’s core survival experience.
Where Pinnacle Is Going
Pinnacle is currently in Season 12, which began in April 2026. There are no plans to begin Season 13 soon. The focus remains on long-term progression, community trust, shared infrastructure, events, and giving players time to find their place in the world.
